1992年7月22日,上海图书馆设立的“中国文化名人手稿室”正式对外开放,展出了近百名著名作者的手稿。许多人参观后,都有一个共同的感觉:这些手稿一是工整,二是每个字都写在稿子格子里。巴金的《随想录》(一卷和五卷)、夏衍的《懒寻旧梦录》日文版序言,冰心的《幻醉及其它》、吴祖光的《闯江湖》……这些手稿,字迹都清清楚楚,一丝不苟。“补白大王”郑逸梅的《南社丛谈》手稿,六七十万字,蝇头小楷,字字工整,可以看出这位刚刚逝世的老作家对写作的认真负责。
On July 22, 1992, the “Manuscript Room of Chinese Cultural Celebrities” set up by the Shanghai Library was officially opened to the public and exhibited manuscripts of nearly a hundred famous authors.
