据权威部门统计,中国公司在境外经营的企业累计达6200多家,对外投资总额74亿美元,遍布全球160多个国家和地区,中国已成为发展中国家最大的对外投资者。这也就意味着越来越多中国经理被派往国外工作。而这些外派经理到了国外,会体验到不同程度的“文化休克”。因此了解“文化休克”的原因、过程、减轻方法,将对外派经理在国外工作和生活有巨大裨益。
According to authoritative statistics, there are more than 6,200 Chinese companies operating overseas, with a total foreign investment of 7.4 billion U.S. dollars, covering more than 160 countries and regions. China has become the largest foreign investor in developing countries. This means more and more Chinese managers are sent abroad for work. While these expatriate managers have gone abroad, they experience different degrees of “cultural shock.” Therefore, understanding the causes, processes and mitigating methods of “cultural shock” will greatly benefit expatriate managers in their work and life abroad.
