Since 1980, when Furchgott and Zawadzki found that the relaxing vascular smooth muscle function of acetylcholine (ACh) depends on the presence of intact endothelial cells and endothelial cells can release endothelium-derived reaxing factor (EDRF), the important biological role of EDRF Pay attention. EDRF is an important carrier of cell-to-cell signal exchange and is widely involved in the regulation of physiological functions such as relaxation of vascular smooth muscle, inhibition of platelet aggregation and adhesion, regulation of immune function, modulation of the function, growth and reproduction of a variety of tissue cells such as blood cells and in nerve conduction Play an important role. As a great progress of physiology in the 1980s, the cognition of EDRF not only deepens and broadens the study of certain diseases, especially cardiovascular diseases, but also provides new means and ideas for the prevention and treatment of clinical cardiovascular diseases.
