“三多爆破法”是多面临空地形爆破的最新发展。目前国内外还没有相应的爆破理论和设计方法。苏联仍采用单层一次爆破,超炸往往达到30~45%,有效抛掷率不高,边坡破坏严重。我国某些部门采用上层抛掷,下层松动,分层爆破,但最大抛掷率只能达到40%,设计方法均停滞在“断面——最小抵抗线折线图”的平面设计方法上,没有同时照顾数个临空面。美国则多用钻孔爆破,但由于重型机具甚多,在微地形变化甚大,波浪起袱的地貌条件下亦难使用。
