This disease is rare and is a recurrent inflammation of the sensory organ cartilage, first described by Jacksch-Wartehorst (1923) and named polychoadropathies. 1960 Pearson called relapsing polychondritis (Relapsing po-lychondritis). The disease can occur at any age to 20 to 60 years of age, the same gender, more common in Caucasians, but also some scholars reported that found in 1 case of black and 3 cases of Japanese.
