The resulting infections are not only common but also have higher morbidity and mortality than other bacterial pathogens. This article focuses on prophylaxis and treatment strategies for Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection and pharmacological treatment of Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections in CF patients.
