视唱课是学习和掌握音乐旋律、节奏节拍、音程调式等音乐表现要素的工具学科。它是一种多项人体器官活动的综合性训练,即通过嘴、耳、眼、手以及大脑的积极配合,把各种音乐语言表达出来。视唱能力的训练,是学习音乐知识、培养音乐素质,掌握音乐技巧的重要手段,也是强化音乐理论基础课学习的重要方面。而且它还对学习其它音乐课程如声乐、键盘等有着内在的紧密联系。
