8月22日,中共中央政治局委员、广东省委书记汪洋到珠海市考察港珠澳大桥建设情况,并指出要抓紧做好大桥配套操作的专题研究和前期工作,力保工程优质高效顺利进行。港珠澳大桥跨越伶仃洋,东接香港特别行政区,西接澳门特别行政区和我省珠海市,是“一国两制”框架下、粤港澳三地首次合作建设的超大型跨海交通工程,自2009年12月项目正式开工以来,粤港澳三方积极推进项目建设工作,总体进展顺利,计划2016年建成通车。

The overall progress is smooth and the project is expected to be completed and opened to traffic in 2016.
