在用流体近似法研究ATM复用器的输入过程时,一般假设单个信源的控制过程为两状态马氏链。迭加后的输入过程是一个控制过程为多状态、连续时间、不可分马氏链的马氏调制过程。由于状态个数很大,不便于对缓冲器容量的研究。文中将它匹配成只有两个状态的半马氏调制过程,由于状态个数仅为两个,简化了理论分析和数值分析过程。
When using fluid approximation to study the input process of an ATM multiplexer, it is generally assumed that the control process of a single source is a two-state Markov chain.
