Objective To measure and analyze the body surface dose of CT scanning in children and provide the basis for the protection of children’s CT examination. Methods The phantom and thermoluminescence dosimeter were used for the measurement. Results The average body surface dose of head CT scan was 19.34 mGy, the average paranasal sinus scan was 43.36 mGy, and the body surface dose of abdominal scan pelvis was 0.51-2.81 mGy. Conclusion To meet the clinical diagnosis under the premise of scanning analysis should be reduced as much as possible to reduce the dose, so that the application of CT to optimize the child.
