一、引言目前,在高校英语专业教学模式和教学方法上依然存在着很多争论。如何才能不断优化教学模式,改进教学方法,提高学生英语综合运用能力是高校英语教师极其关注、亟待解决的热门问题。语言模因理论,国内外语言研究领域的一个新兴分支,把基因观点以及复制、继承和变异的有效习得模式引入到了第二语言习得中,这为高校英语专业教学模式的优化提供了一种新的教学改革思路。本文以语言模因理论为支撑,以我校英语专业精读课程为教学实验平台,探讨了语言模因理论对英语专业教学模式是否具有优化作用,有多大程度的优化作用以及如何发挥其优化作用。
I. Introduction At present, there are still many controversies in teaching model and teaching methods of college English majors. How to continuously optimize the teaching mode, improve teaching methods and improve students’ ability to use English comprehensively are the hot topics which the college English teachers are paying close attention to and need to solve urgently. The theory of language memes, a new branch in the field of linguistic research at home and abroad, introduces the perspectives of genes and effective acquisition patterns of reproduction, inheritance and variation into the second language acquisition. This provides a new approach to the optimization of teaching modes of English majors in colleges and universities New kinds of teaching reform ideas. Based on the theory of language memes, this article uses the Intensive Reading Course of English majors in our school as a teaching experiment platform, and explores whether the theory of language memes plays an optimal role in optimizing the teaching mode of English majors, how effective the optimization is, and how to optimize it.
