辽宁省果产区普遍存在果树施肥不足的问题.辽南苹果产区,每年不施肥的白茬树约占三分之一,辽西的锦州、朝阳地区白茬树的比例就更高,不少社队幼树结果前基本上不施肥.因而造成果树衰弱、结果晚、产量低、品质差,病害重.为切实贯彻“以粮为纲,全面发展”的方针,把我省果树生产搞上去,必须广开肥源,大种绿肥,解决果树的需肥问题.我所从1974年开始本试验,分别设施用绿肥、农肥和化肥三个处理.目的在于探讨在农肥严重缺乏,果树施不上肥的情况下,可否用绿肥代替农肥解决果树的需肥问题.此外,为了探讨种植绿肥后,果园土壤理化性质的变化,故增设了试验辅助区,以观察果园种植绿肥和间种粮食对土壤的影响.
