在铝合金的热处理中,用聚合物作淬火剂的好处之一是变形小。作者在本文中概述了选用聚合物作淬火剂的依据,与传统的淬火剂——水作了比较,并且叙述了一些在工业上获得成功应用的例子。一、引言在钢的热处理中,采用聚合物淬火剂的主要理由是: 1.代替会引起火灾的那些淬火剂; 2.消除淬火时产生烟雾; 3.取消由于油淬所需要的去油工序。对于铝合金热处理,通常是用水作为淬火剂的,虽然不存在上述三种情况,但是,仍然可以证明,在处理铝等有色金属时,使用聚合物淬火剂在经济上和技术上是合理的。
One of the benefits of using a polymer as a quenchant in the heat treatment of aluminum alloys is that the deformation is small. In this paper, the author summarizes the rationale for using polymers as quenchants, compares them with traditional quenchants - water and describes some examples of successful industrial applications. I. INTRODUCTION In the heat treatment of steel, the main reasons for using polymer quenching agent are as follows: 1. to replace those quenching agents that will cause fire; 2. to eliminate the smoke generated during quenching; 3. to cancel the oil removing process required for oil quenching . For aluminum alloy heat treatment, water is usually used as the quenching agent. Although the above three cases do not exist, it can still be proved that it is economically and technically reasonable to use a polymer quenching agent in the treatment of non-ferrous metals such as aluminum.
