The engineering practice shows that the rock mass stress measurement results are mainly controlled and influenced by the following two types of factors: 1. The stability and reliability of stress measurement methods. Different stress measurement methods not only have corresponding applicable conditions, but also have different stability and measurement accuracy; 2. The influence of various geological factors. Because of the complex geological factors, there are extremely complex non-uniformly distributed stress fields in the rock mass. In addition to the effects of regional tectonic stress or structural residual stress, these influencing factors generally include: topography; denudation and intrusion of magmatic rocks
