放大自发辐射光源结合相关法实现无源光网络故障检测

提出了一种基于掺铒光纤放大自发辐射(ASE)光源实现波分复用无源光网络(WDM-PON)故障检测的技术。WDM-PON因其具有节点密、支路多的结构特点导致光纤链路中故障检测困难,该技术利用双程后向结构掺铒光纤ASE光源光谱的宽带特性和具有delta相关特性的时域输出,结合相关法实现分辨率为厘米量级的WDMPON光纤链路故障点定位。以8通道WDM-PON为例进行检测,结果表明该方法能够精确定位光网络中断点及松动接头的位置,并实现多故障反射事件检测。实验中获得动态范围为23dB,分辨率达到4cm,测量精度与测量距离无关。基于ASE光源的宽带特性,该技术至少可完成对32路的WDM-PON故障检测。 This paper presents a technique of WDM-PON fault detection based on erbium-doped fiber amplification spontaneous emission (ASE) light source. WDM-PON has the characteristics of dense nodes and large branches, which makes it difficult to detect faults in optical fiber links. This technology utilizes the broadband characteristics of the erbium-doped fiber ASE light source and the time-domain output with delta correlation , Combined with the relevant law to achieve the resolution of centimeter-level WDMPON fiber link fault location. Taking 8-channel WDM-PON as an example, the results show that this method can accurately locate the optical network break point and loosen the connector, and achieve multi-fault reflection event detection. The experimental dynamic range of 23dB, the resolution of 4cm, the measurement accuracy and measurement distance has nothing to do. Based on the broadband nature of ASE light sources, this technology can at least complete 32 WDM-PON fault detection.
