近年来,伴随学科知识不断细化和专业化以及大学英语教学改革大潮,ESP(English for Specific Purposes)教学是医学类专门院校在EGP(English for General Purpose)教学之外需要大力关注和投入的课程教学,医学院校公共英语教师如何突破自身局限,成功完成转型之路令人深思。本文通过厘清医学院校公共英语教师的自身困境和不足,依据医学英语教学特点,提出其转型的三大关键及教师如何从个人和集体层面走上转型之路。
In recent years, along with the continuous refinement and specialization of subject knowledge and the tide of college English teaching reform, ESP (English for Specific Purposes) teaching is a need for medical colleges to devote more attention and investment than EGP (English for General Purpose) teaching Course teaching, public English teachers in medical schools how to break through their own limitations, the successful completion of the transformation of the road is thought-provoking. By clarifying the difficulties and deficiencies of public English teachers in medical colleges and universities, the paper puts forward three key points of transformation and how teachers can take the transition from individual and group level according to the characteristics of medical English teaching.
