Michel Tunier (1924-) is a famous French contemporary writer. He worked in German universities, French radio stations and publishing houses. In 1967, he published “Friday, also known as the illusory environment on the Pacific Ocean,” winning the fiction prize at the French Academy of Fine Arts and borrowing the theme of Robinson Crusoe from the British writer Defoe.
