长期以来,西德大众汽车厂致力于提高车用柴油机燃燃料经济性。所采用的重要措施是提高压缩比和改进燃烧室形状。最佳压缩比的数值取决于汽油的抗爆性能(辛烷值)和汽油机的抗爆性能(机械辛烷值),同时还受汽油机结构和制造工艺的约束。试验结果表明,对于每一种汽油机,不仅其有最佳的燃烧室形状,还有其最佳的压缩比。 For a long time, West Germany Volkswagen Automobile Factory is committed to improving the economy of diesel fuel for vehicles. Important measures used are to increase the compression ratio and improve the shape of the combustion chamber. The optimum compression ratio depends on the antiknock performance of the gasoline (octane number) and the antiknock performance of the gasoline engine (mechanical octane number), as well as the gasoline engine structure and manufacturing process. Test results show that, for each gasoline engine, not only has the best shape of the combustion chamber, but also its best compression ratio.
