In the field of automatic driving, cooperation between enterprises is particularly important, while the pace of Japanese manufacturers are not the same. The background is that Japan uses frequency differently from Europe and the United States in the communications between cars and cars, cars and infrastructure. With the exception of Toyota, other Japanese manufacturers are cautious about the practical use of autopilot, which is probably a big obstacle to the internationalization of Japanese standards. To achieve advanced autonomous driving, the entire automotive industry must advance technical standardization and develop new rules. However, Toyota’s position with other Japanese manufacturers is mixed in terms of using the driving assistance system of ITS (Advanced Road Transport System), which is becoming increasingly prominent.
