由市委宣传部,文化局、教委、总工会、音协等8个单位联合举办的重庆市1990年“红五月”群众歌咏活动(以下简称“歌咏月”),已在我市各区县、系统、学校、基层轰轰烈烈地展开,群情沸腾。5月27日,组委会邀请了来自工矿、农村、学校、军营、企业、机关的2000多名演员组成的25个合唱团、军乐团,演出了“峥嵘岁月”、“红霞灿烂”、“改革春风”、“时代之光”等4个部分,约30首优秀作品组成的“《祖国颂》革命歌曲演唱会”,将“歌咏月”推向了最高潮。今年“歌咏月”从筹办到最后高潮的出现,历时约100天,令人精神振奋的宏伟歌声席卷
