卡森·麦卡勒斯的处女作《心是孤独的猎手》以20世纪30年代末美国南方工业小镇为背景,讲述了哑巴辛格,咖啡店主比夫,工运分子杰克,少女米克以及黑人医生考普兰德孤独无处排遣,精神处于隔绝的生存状态。卡森一生坎坷,对存在主义思想有独到的见解,对人类所处境遇和生存感受有着天生的敏感度。本文运用存在主义理论解读该作品,使读者能够更深刻地体会到卡森对人生对孤独的哲学式思考。
Carson McCullers’s debut “Heart is a lonely hunter” in the late 1930s the southern industrial town of the United States as the background, tells the Mumbai Singh, coffee shop owner Biff, the transport operator Jack, the young Mick and Kooplande, a black doctor, is nowhere to go and his spirit is in a state of subsistence. Carson’s life ups and downs, have unique insights into the existentialist ideas, have a natural sensitivity to the situation and the existence of human beings. This article uses existentialism theory to interpret this work so that readers can more deeply understand Carson’s philosophical reflection on life to loneliness.
