中国地质科学院地质研究所铬铁矿研究队,曾于1976—1978年间与西藏地质局第二、五地质队合作,对安多岩体和曲松岩体的地质成矿特征进行了研究。发现这两个岩体的岩石具有独特的结构和构造并显示受高压作用的特点;在岩体的人工重砂和天然重砂样品中存在着如铬镁榴石、碳化硅、自然铬和高铬铬尖晶石等金刚石伴生矿物。据文献及岩体的地质特征,认为有可能赋存金刚石。
The chromite research team of the Institute of Geology, Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences worked with the second and fifth geological teams of the Geological Bureau of Tibet from 1976 to 1978 to study the geological mineralization features of the Anduo and Qu Songtuo bodies. The rocks of these two rock masses were found to have unique structures and tectonics and to be characterized by high pressure. In the heavy sand and natural sand samples of rock mass, there are such elements as garnet, silicon carbide, natural chromium and high Chromium chrome spinel diamond associated minerals. According to the literature and geological characteristics of rock mass, it is considered possible to deposit diamond.
