从我识事之日起,一直生活在日本帝国主义侵略中国的阴影之中;我振奋于历次反对日帝侵华的运动,也景慕那些志士仁人反对日帝的言行。虽然那时我还幼小,不能参加反对日帝的活动,但心里总想有一天我能成为一个抗击日帝的斗士。 “二十一条”成了我的噩梦,这是中国人民生死攸关的大事,所以不但反对侵略我国的日本帝国主义,即使同属国人而对日帝采取不抵抗态度的一伙民族败类,我也痛恨万分。我印象中最深刻的一件事,
From my day of knowledge, I have lived in the shadow of Japan’s imperialist invasion of China.
