一九三九年十月二十五日,我所在的八路军山东纵队第一支队,在临朐县的五井镇遭到了驻青州、临朐城的日寇和伪军的突然袭击。我广大指战员奋起迎敌,英勇战斗,取得了全歼来犯之日寇和击毙伪军一百二十多名的重大胜利。这一歼灭战,不但对向我鲁南根据地进行第二次「扫荡」的敌人起了牵制与打击的作用,更重要的是激励了广大民众的抗日斗志,坚定了抗战必胜的信心。因此,被当年十一月三日的《大众日报》誉为「山东抗战两年来的最模范的胜利战斗」。一九三九年初春,会师后
On October 25, 1939, the first detachment of the Shandong column of the Eighth Route Army where I was located was suddenly attacked by the Japanese invaders and puppet troops stationed in Qingzhou and Linqu Cheng in Wujing Town, Linqu County.
