中牟县面积1460平方公里,耕地62666.7公顷,人口62万,辖20个乡镇,135个行政村。现有养殖水面866.7公顷,国有、集体、个体渔场54个。1992年全县水产品产量2050吨。 中牟县地理位置优越,交通发达,西邻郑州,东接开封,北濒黄河。310国道和陇海铁路横贯全境,南有密杞公路,东有106国道,西有107国道,郑州国际机场与开封机场距中牟各30公里。华中电网穿境而过,县办热电厂已投入运行,电力供应条件较好。境内河渠纵横,水资源较丰富,气候温和,光照充足,有发展水产业的得天独厚的条件。
Zhongmou County covers an area of 1460 square kilometers, 62666.7 hectares of arable land, population 620,000, administer 20 townships, 135 administrative villages. The existing aquaculture surface 866.7 hectares, 54 state-owned, collective, individual fisheries. In 1992 the county aquatic product output 2050 tons. Zhongmu County, strategic location, traffic developed, west of Zhengzhou, east of Kaifeng, north of the Yellow River. State Road 310 and the Longhai Railway traverses the whole territory. There is Miqiu Road to the south, State Road 106 to the east and State Road 107 to the west. Zhengzhou International Airport and Kaifeng Airport are each 30 kilometers away from Zhongmu. Huazhong Power Grid passing through, county-owned cogeneration plant has been put into operation, the power supply conditions are better. Vertical and horizontal channels within the territory, rich water resources, mild climate, adequate light, there is the unique conditions for the development of aquaculture.
