流行病学研究发现,血压从115/75mmHg开始,血压水平与心脑血管疾病发病率呈正相关,血压每增加20/10mmHg,发生心脑血管危险性就增加1倍。2003年,美国预防、检测、评估与治疗高血压全国联合委员会第七次报告(JNC-7)首次提出“高血压前期”这一概念。目前大量研究表明,高血压前期的发生率高,增加心血管疾病的危险性,远期并发症使患者死亡率增加。目前高血压前期已受到广泛的关注。
