Canadian hunter LA Hauser took an extreme position in the longstanding debate between “pure” theorists in the field of libraries and other informatics experts that “there is no difference between traditional library science Intelligence Science ”,“ There is no basis for considering informatics as an independent science. ” He considers all the independent scientific fields to be characterized by the following three factors, namely, the specific tasks, the particular scientific community, and the particularities that can guarantee the reproducibility of the experiments in the field, so as to ultimately ensure the evaluation of the achievements and progress in the field scientific method. Of course these are not sufficient conditions for the successful development of a scientific field, but they are all necessary conditions for the existence of any scientific field. Based on the above observations, and based on the assumption that JASIS (“Journal of the American Society of Scientific Journals of Intelligence”) most completely follows its own theoretical position, the author makes a comparative analysis of the articles published by JASIS over the past 15 years (1970 to 1984). Finally, he put forward three kinds of statistics to prove that informatics is fundamentally different from the library science
