对于轴承的研究是长期来工程技术人员感兴趣的课题之一。因为在许多场合,轴承的好坏常常是决定产品质量的主要因素。目前已出现了很多类型的轴承。其中包括各种液体润滑轴承、固体润滑轴承、气体润滑轴承、磁力轴承等。气体轴承由于它所具有的特点越来越多地被应用。气体具有可压缩性和较液体小得多的动力粘度。与液体润滑比较,气体润滑轴承有下列优点: 1.到处有空气可供使用。一般情况下轴承都处于空气中。虽然对于静压轴承,空气在进入轴承前先得压缩和净化,然而空气仍不失为一种廉价的润滑剂。对于整体结构也用不着考虑空气的回收。
