“A Girl and Her Room”是女摄影师Rania Matar为期两年的一个拍摄项目,在这个项目中,她走访美国与中东的不同地区,拍摄来自不同背景和家庭环境的女孩们的房间,呈现她们的生活、青春期的自我意识以及不同文化的融合与冲突。Rania Matar在黎巴嫩出生和长大,1984年移居美国,生活在波士顿,早年毕业于贝鲁特大学建筑系,后在新英格兰摄影学校进修摄影,暑期为黎巴嫩难民营的孩子教摄影课,长期关注中东及女性话题,目前是一名自由摄影师。
A Girl and Her Room is a two-year filming project by Rania Matar, a photographer who visits different parts of the United States and the Middle East to take pictures of girls from different backgrounds and family settings, Showing their life, adolescent self-awareness and the integration and conflict of different cultures. Rania Matar was born and raised in Lebanon. He immigrated to the United States in 1984 and lived in Boston. After graduating from Beirut University's architecture department, Rania Matar went on to study photography at the New England School of Photography, summer photography classes for children in the Lebanese refugee camp, longtime Middle East and Female topic, is currently a freelance photographer.
