我国翻译本科(BTI)和硕士(MTI)专业是千禧年之后出现的新学位专业。自2005年教育部批准我国高等学校开设翻译本科专业,以及2007年批准开设翻译硕士专业以来,各地高校都在积极探索有效的办学途径,特别是在办学理念、办学方针、办学目的和人才培养方面进行了建设性的思考。翻译教育(包括本科阶段和硕士阶段)对学生提出的两个基本要求是翻译实践能力和基于翻译实践的翻译理论运用能力,而融会贯通这两种能力的关键是批判性思维的运用。本文把批判性思维作为翻译教育中的一个核心研究命题,首先探讨批判性思维的运用与翻译教育之间的内在关系,特别是如何将批判性思维运用到提升译者综合翻译能力的培养中,并建构一个长期有效的翻译教学机制。其次讨论翻译专业的办学者和教师应该如何培养学生具备批判性思维的能力,以及对今后翻译本科和硕士专业的培养目标方案修订给予建设性的意见。
Our BTI and MTI major is a new degree program that emerged after the millennium. Since the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of undergraduate majors in higher education in China in 2005 and the approval of the establishment of a master’s program in translation in 2007, colleges and universities all over the world have been actively exploring ways to run schools. Two basic requirements for students proposed by students in translation education (including undergraduate and postgraduate) are translation practical ability and translation theory application based on translation practice. The key to integrating these two abilities is the application of critical thinking. This paper takes critical thinking as a core research topic in translation education. Firstly, it explores the inner relationship between the application of critical thinking and translation education, especially how to apply critical thinking to enhance the translators’ And build a long-term effective translation teaching mechanism. Second, we should discuss how to cultivate the ability of students with critical thinking in translation major as well as the constructive suggestions on the revising of training objectives for undergraduate and master degree students in the future.
