改制后的镇巴剧团适应市场,成为当地文化产业发展中不可小视的力量。我县经济的快速发展和人民群众日益增长的文化需求,为镇巴剧团的发展提供了广阔的空间。镇巴剧团在丰富城、乡,特别是广大农村居民文化生活的方面发挥着不可替代的作用。镇巴剧团目前仍靠政府财政拨款、且热衷于会(调)演、五花八门的评奖、职称评定的专业剧团来说既是挑战,实事求是地说也是威胁。它们的生存状况及其生存中发展的现实问题,是本文所关注与思考的课题,同时希望能引起文化主管部门的关注与重视。
