Egypt is located in the lower reaches of the Nile in northeastern Africa, at the junction of Eurasia and Africa. It is not only the hub of land transport linking the three continents but also the Suez Canal, an international shipping channel connecting the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea and connecting the Atlantic Ocean with the Indian Ocean. The national area of 1002000 square kilometers, the desert accounted for more than 90%. A population of about 54 million, of which 94% concentrated in the Siberian isthmus on both sides of the Nile and a few oases in the desert.
