本实验用甲基胆蒽涂抹小鼠宫颈原位诱发宮颈癌。实驗用甲基胆蒽涂宮頸每周二次,共涂30次(10毫克),然后分三组进行,第一组不加处理,第二組再涂巴豆油七次,第三組进行交配。結果三組91例中共得瘤72例,其中宮頸癌63例,占79.7%。三組比較,加涂巴豆油组之癌贤生数略高。切片观查瘤組織分为5級,各級与不同組別未見有何差別:由阴道涂片上观查,瘤細胞在涂致癌质后9周即有出現,但在切片檢查中以200天上下为最多。此外观查到切片上“(?)”“十”“艹”三級中,阴道涂片检查瘤細胞时,仅部分为阳性,而在“卅”、“(?)”二級中則几全为阳性。本实驗所誘发之宮頸癌很明显现察到由宮颈被盖上皮而来。
