On Monday morning, when I asked Google’s chief executive, Sundar Pichai, about artificial intelligence, Google was busy fixing the wrong message about the Las Vegas shootings. The question I asked was focused on the 2016 presidential election, where tech giants like Facebook, Twitter and Google were found to have sent the wrong message. Later, I found that Pichai actually had a rough idea that there was a problem with Google’s algorithm. Therefore, I think his answer is objective and can also serve as a response to Google’s criticism of the outside world after the shootings.
