一辆普通的大众轿车正在科隆至埃森的高速公路上疾驰。驾车的盛君是我们代表团一位成员的老乡,安徽泾县汀溪人,上个世纪80年代中期东南大学研究生毕业,后到德国留学攻读博士,现就职于西门子公司。他的夫人是安徽芜湖人,安师大化学系毕业,随夫到德国做全职太太。家中两个孩子,大的女孩,11岁;小的男孩,7岁。盛君得知我们到德国的消息后,下午下班后特地赶到科隆,邀请我们去他远在一百多公里外的家中做客。

After Sheng Jun learned that we had arrived in Germany, he arrived in Cologne after get off work in the afternoon and invited us to visit him as far as a hundred kilometers away from his home.
