Many traditional folk customs and traditional festivals popular among the Hani ethnic groups in the frontier of the motherland’s Yunnan border often interweave with or even interdependence with folk literature and become inherent spiritual wealth of the hard-to-reach Hani ethnic group. To understand the relationship between Hani customs and folk literature is of great significance to the study of the history and literature of the Hani nation. A Hani is a singing and dancing nation.
