缺乏背景知识是造成中国学生英语阅读困难的一个重要原因。本文从图式理论的角度出发,分析了背景知识与阅读理解的关系,探讨了如何利用好阅读文本来激活和发展学生的图式,提高他们的英语阅读能力。
Lack of background knowledge is an important reason for Chinese students’ difficulty in reading English. From the perspective of schema theory, this paper analyzes the relationship between background knowledge and reading comprehension, explores how to make good use of reading texts to activate and develop students’ schemata and improve their English reading ability.
