《呼啸山庄》(1847)是勃朗特三姐妹中老二艾米莉·勃朗特所著的唯一一部长篇小说,这部充满想象力的文学作品在英国乃至世界文学史上都占据着突出的地位,自其问世以来从最初的备受冷遇和批评,到半个世纪之后的被广泛接受和认可,堪称一颗“失而复得”的明珠。今天对《呼啸山庄》评论和研究的方法与角度层出不穷,业已成为一个专门的研究领域。本文对《呼啸山庄》的语言特征和不同中文译本的翻译特色进行分析和研究,以期对实现翻译理论到实践的完美结合具有一定的借鉴价值。
Wuthering Heights (1847) is the only novel written by Emily Bronte, the third child of the Bronte third sisters. This imaginative literary work occupies a place in the history of British and even world literature Prominent position, since its inception from the very first cold reception and criticism, half a century later to be widely accepted and recognized, called a “lost” pearl. Today, the methods and perspectives of the review and research on Wuthering Heights have emerged in an endless stream and have become a specialized field of study. This paper analyzes and researches the language features of Wuthering Heights and the translation features of different Chinese versions in order to provide some reference value for the perfect combination of translation theory and practice.
