INTRODUCTION One of the important factors to measure the precision of rectangular air hydrostatic guide rail that satisfies the criterion of static stability is the recoverable moment and inclination stiffness of the rectilinear air-pressure guide rail. How to effectively calculate the inclination angle of the guide rail The recovery moment and the inclination stiffness are important issues that can not be ignored in the research of high precision air pressure guide rails. In this paper, the first-order perturbation method is used to deduce the recoverable moment and inclination of rectangular hydrostatic track (as shown in Fig.1)
