《课程标准》指出,发展推进音乐教育有利于培养热爱中华民族文化的感情,有利于培养集体主义精神,有利于培养健康的审美情趣,促进青少年的身心健康成长,使之完善自身的品格,陶冶情操,提高自身的综合素质。然而在农村,中学生的音乐素养并不尽如人意,不能充分发挥音乐教育的育人作用和功能,进而引发音乐教师们的困惑与思索。
