“Transcendental” and “transzendent” as the key words of Kant ’s philosophy, respectively, have been known in China for a long time. However, since the 1970s, these two translations have been adopted by Japanese scholars as “ Transcendentalism ”and“ beyond ”, and in recent years some Chinese scholars have also begun to propose a new Japanese translation of names. As for the new Japanese translation of names, most people in the academic community probably do not know their exact origins. The purpose of this paper is to examine the recent trends in the translation of tran-szendental and transzendent between China and Japan, and then to the origins and development of Japanese translatability, transcendence and transcendence, Accepted.
