籼稻和粳稻在分类学上属于不同的亚种,籼粳杂种一代具有比品种间杂种一代更强大的杂种优势,但因籼、粳不亲和,杂种一代结实率很低,致使籼粳杂种优势至今未能在生产上利用。为了探讨籼粳杂种优势利用的途径,1980年我们开展了筛选籼粳“媒介材料”,以期在杂交水稻上利用的研究。现将初步研究结果报告如下: 粳灿“媒介材料”筛选情况 1980年冬在海南岛配制了许多籼粳杂交组合。1981年秋在三明地区农科所种植杂种F1。大部分杂种一代结实率很低,仅藤野与五个不同来源的粳稻(台湾、华北、云南、日本等地品种)和籼稻杂种F1正常结实。结实率分别为76.5%~90.4%和76.9%~92.7%。接着,又以藤野为母本或父本与籼、粳品种杂交了22个组合,于81年冬和82年秋在海南岛和本所种植杂种F1进行验证。二年中,用20个粳稻品种和5个籼稻品种与藤野杂交了27个组合,除了与菲律宾
Indica and japonica are taxonomically distinct subspecies. Indica / Japonica hybrids have stronger heterosis than interspecific hybrids, but indica and japonica are incompatible, and the seed set rate of hybrids is very low, resulting in heterosis of indica and japonica So far failed to use in production. In order to explore the ways of utilization of indica-japonica hybrids, in 1980 we conducted a screening study of indica-japonica “media materials” in hybrid rice. The autumn of 1981 in Sanming Prefecture agricultural hybrid F1. Most of the hybrids have very low seed setting rate. Only Fujino and five japonica rice from different origins (Taiwan, North China, Yunnan, Japan and other places) and indica hybrid F1 are normal and strong. Seed setting rates were 76.5% -90.4% and 76.9% -92.7%, respectively. Subsequently, 22 combinations were crossed with Fujino as female parent or male parent with japonica and indica varieties, and F1 hybrids were planted in Hainan Island and Hong Kong in the autumn of 2001 and the autumn of 1982. In two years, 27 combinations were crossed with Fujino by 20 japonica rice varieties and 5 indica rice varieties except for the Philippines
