Born in Pensac in Lot, France, Roger Vitrac, symbolized by his youth, Lotret Amon (1846-1870), a French poet, and Alfred Yarry (1873 -1907) works, the development of passion for drama and poetry. Vetrac, co-founder of the magazine Adventures, also joined the Surrealist movement for several issues of Surreal Revolution magazine, but later faded out with French actor and theater theorist Antoine Alto The group co-founded the Alfred Yarry Theater in 1926. There are two of Veitrack’s best two plays, “The Mysteries of Love” (1927) and “Viktor or Children’s Power” (1928). They set the tone twenty years earlier than the Romanian and French dramatist Eugen Unescu for the theater of absurdity and are now both regarded as representative plays of the 20th century French theater. Since 1931 Vetrack has made his living as a journalist, but he continues to explore the Brazilian dramatist Robert Bree Max’s style of theater writing between the boulevard comedy and the intimate tragedy.
