对光纤通信线路的主要技术条件之一是其元件的可靠性,但目前既没有测定光纤接头可靠性因素的标准方法,也无可靠性方面的批准的标准。光纤接头一系列最佳可靠性因素的确定;接头故障或临界状态判据的制订;接头有效控制方法和测试条件的拟定,这些都是至关重要的。此外,还须对这些因素的控制准确度作出评估。本文对若干方法进行分析后,得出一些初步结论。
One of the main technical conditions for optical fiber communication lines is the reliability of their components, but at the moment there is neither a standard method of determining the reliability of an optical fiber connector nor an approved standard of reliability. The determination of the best set of reliability factors for fiber optic connectors; the development of connector failure or criticality criteria; the effective control of connectors and the formulation of test conditions are of the utmost importance. In addition, the control accuracy of these factors must be evaluated. This article analyzes a number of methods, come to some preliminary conclusions.
