金华市电子商务行业在全国排名第六,网络经济是金华市委的“一号产业”。但是许多人利用网络发展迅速、隐蔽性强的特点,打着电子商务的幌子从事传销等违法犯罪行为。2013年4月17日,金华市工商局江南分局经检大队根据金华晚报《“新奇机”:你的“新奇”有谁懂?》披露的内容发现案件线索经初步核查,创办“新奇机”网站的金华xxx电子商务有限公司涉嫌用电子商务消费返利的名义从事传销行为,遂即立案调查。经查,当事人正是利用电子商务,以网络购物、团队营销的名义,从事传销行为。本案的办理对于规范电子商务、维护网络经济健康发展起到了积极作用。
