Because of its relationship with Huanglong, the legendary yellow dragon the Huanglongxi Town is considered a fortunate place. This town has stood still for hundreds of years and is preserved as a complete county town. Here can be seen the age-old dock and temple, at the edge of the town the river and fields add beauty and radiance to each other exhibiting the charm of the countryside. This town was once a flourishing place owing to its water transport facilities. Today with its natural beauty, local customs and tranquillity which are much favored by people living in crowded cities, it attracts flocks of sightseers.
