南堂太均娘娘是一位在浙北乃至整个太湖流域都有一定影响力的女神,主要扮演守护妇幼、送子的角色,其信仰贯穿了当地人的诸多人生仪礼。本文以湖州地区16岁的“罗汉酒”仪式为例,从仪式的功能、象征意义等角度探讨了“罗汉酒”在当今民间信仰逐渐走向衰弱的时代背景下依然能被地方民众理解和传承的重要原因。
Nangdang Taishiangniangniang is a goddess who has a certain influence in Zhejiang and even the whole Taihu Lake basin. It plays a guardian role of women and children, giving birth to children. Its beliefs permeate many life ceremonies of local people. Taking the 16-year-old “Lohan wine” ritual in Huzhou as an example, this paper discusses the “Lohan wine” from the functions and symbolic significance of the ritual in the context of the current weakening of folk beliefs.
