Muhammad founded Islam in the 7th century AD. He wrote all the religious views that he admired and believed in by nearly 1 billion Muslims today in the Koran. Although this Islamic classic emphasizes primarily on human mental health, it also contains statements about physical health and mental state. Muhammad often talked about issues such as medicine and diet. His words are undoubtedly very influential. Over the next few centuries, as Muslim scholars came into contact with traditional medicine in ancient Greece, Syria, and India, after comparing this knowledge with the human views in the Qur’an and Muhammad’s discussion of human health, Islam Medicine came out in written form. In this type of medical scripture, Muslim scholars try their best to integrate the most accepted medical science knowledge with the folk medicine of the Arabs who believe in Muhammad.
