To commemorate the event, China released the movie Jian Guo Da Ye, which has been translated to The Founding of a Republic. When the War of Resistance Against Japan ended in 1945,China was controlled by two political forces,the ruling Nationalist Party,or Kuomintang,led by Chiang Kai-shek,and the Communist party,led by Mao Zedong.Peace talks delivered nothing and civil war between the factions broke out a year later.
