2010年2月27日,自治区人民政府批准设立桂台(贺州)客家文化旅游合作示范区;同年12月1日,示范区正式挂牌。贺州市将充分发挥自身客家文化和生态环境优势,从政策措施、体制机制、产业发展、设施建设等方面寻求突破,积极探索桂台客家文化传承发展、生态旅游资源开发、产业项目建设等领域的合作方式,促进贺州旅游产业从观光型向休闲度假型升级,努力把示范区建设成文化魅力独特、生态环境优美、经济社会协调发展的生态文化旅游先行区,推动贺州科学发展跨越发展。
On February 27, 2010, the Autonomous Region People’s Government approved the establishment of the Hakka Cultural Tourism Cooperation Demonstration Zone in Gyeongtai (Hezhou); and on December 1 of the same year, the Demonstration Zone was formally listed. Hezhou will make full use of its advantages in Hakka culture and ecological environment and seek breakthroughs in policies and measures, institutional mechanisms, industrial development and facilities construction, and actively explore cooperation in the field of cultural inheritance and development of Hakka culture in GuiTai, development of ecotourism resources and construction of industrial projects Hezhou tourism industry to promote the type of leisure and vacation upgrade, and strive to build the demonstration area into a unique cultural charm, beautiful ecological environment, coordinated economic and social development of ecological and cultural tourism pioneer areas to promote scientific development span of development in Hezhou.
